Vondie is Executive Vice President for Providence Real Estate with the primary responsibilities for property management operations. Vondie is responsible for the supervision of all the Providence Real Estate teams in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. She is responsible for all aspects of Property Management including hiring, monthly property inspections, customer relations, employee relations, capital projects and financial reporting.
Vondie’s background in the multifamily industry management sector includes acquisitions, dispositions, and developments across the sunbelt states. Vondie served as Senior Vice President of Colonial Properties Trust, one of the country’s premier real estate investment trusts (REIT’s).
During her tenure, she was responsible for the financial performance of operations in the following markets: Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. In her role, she played a strategic role in the analysis of market conditions, occupancy trends, and overall asset management. In addition, she was responsible for key lease up assets in the Tampa, Orlando, and Austin markets. The most recent lease ups set new company records for average move- ins per month and exceeding board approved proformas.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Systems Science from the University of West Florida and has a minor in Management. During her career she has been awarded the Hall of Fame award from the Home Builders Association of West Florida. Vondie received the CLP E.L. Lowder award given by Colonial Properties in the name of the founder of CLP.
