Jon has over 25 years of experience in the accounting/finance industry, with over 20 years in Controller or similar positions at various real estate and construction companies. Prior to joining Providence, he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Accounting & Finance – Controller, with Colonial Properties Trust (NYSE:CLP) where his teams supported the company’s multifamily, commercial, development and construction, treasury, asset management and acquisition/due diligence departments. He also assisted in the transition of the $8.6 Billion total market cap merger with Mid-America Apartment Communities (NYSE:MAA).

Jon graduated from Samford University, in Birmingham AL, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting as well as a Masters in Accounting.
