As Vice President, Fund Accounting, Ann is responsible for the processes in Fund Accounting and coordination with the Fund Administrator. Ann also supports the forecasting and budgeting process as well as liaisons with our external accountants to coordinate completion of audits and tax returns.
“I’ve been working full time at Providence for over a year, and I can honestly say it is one of the best places I have ever worked. From the top down, people are kind, supportive, honest, respectful, and transparent. I have autonomy and I have the support when needed to help me be successful at my job. And although many of us work remotely, the entire team meets weekly via video conferencing, and we visit the Corporate Office as needed so we are able to build relationships. We also meet semiannually for fun events like bowling, attending baseball games, etc. Providence is a great place work!”
Ann joined Providence in May 2019 as a contract employee in corporate accounting where she became an integral part of the fund team. After three years she joined Providence as Vice President, Fund Accounting. Prior to joining Providence, Ann worked in property accounting for twelve years at a public REIT and worked at a tax firm preparing small business and individual tax returns.
Ann graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After working as an engineer for eight years, she earned her CPA license and transitioned to tax work and then ultimately into Multifamily Real Estate accounting.
